BOURBON WHISKEY (21% RYE) as defined by the United States Alcohol, Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) Code of Federal Regulations (27 CFR 5.143), “Bourbon Whiskey (21% Rye)” is a bourbon whiskey distilled in the United States at not exceeding 160 proof from a fermented mash of not less than 51% corn (maize) and stored at not more than 125 proof in charred new oak containers.
