- CITROFOL®AI exhibits very good compatibility with vinyl resins and cellulose derivatives. It also has a solvent action for natural resin. It is specially recommended as a solvent plasticizer for cellulose acetate and other cellulose derivatives.
- CITROFOL®AI has little migration into fatty finished products because of its oil resistance. It is also stable to light and therefore excellently suited for the manufacture of lacquers.
- CITROFOL®AI can be used as a solvent, diluent and as a fixative by the perfumers.
- CITROFOL®AI is a permitted food additive as a carrier for favours and processing aid to whip egg whites.
- CITROFOL®AI inhibits the enzymatic decomposition of sweat components and is therefore an excellent active agent for deodorants.
- CITROFOL®AI can be used as a plasticizer in cigarette filters.
- CITROFOL®AI is used in the manufacture of low volatile hair sprays.

CITROFOL®AI is supplied in canisters with a net content of 25 kg, iron drums of 225 kg, ecobulk containers (IBC) of 1.000 kg and truckloads.
Storage & Handling
- Shelf Life and Storage Condition
- In a cool, dry place and in original closed containers CITROFOL®AI can be stored for at least 3 years.
- A retest is recommended after the above mentioned time.
